The Westmoreland Ballet Company provides high quality ballet education at every level, from beginning students to 

pre-professional dancers. WBC is a non-profit ballet school and ballet company serving the cultural and artistic needs of our Westmoreland County community.

 Students at The Westmoreland Ballet Company are instructed with a syllabus based in Vaganova method. 

Other variations of terms and styles are introduced in 

more advanced classes so that WBC advanced students are familiar with variations from the Cecchetti, 

Royal Ballet, and Balanchine syllabuses.

Full-length ballet performances join professional dancers, pre-professional students, and developing students as fellow cogs in the greater machine of dance and expose novice students to the cultural richness of ballet.

Master classes interspersed throughout the year give dancers the opportunity to spend a class improving their technique of a certain dance style. Summer intensives provide comprehensive dance programs in which dancers' daily classes include pointe and variations work, modern, partnering, choreography, character, yoga, and wellness.
